Zayn Malik has dropped his first single What I Am from his upcoming fourth solo album Room Under the Stairs album.

The former member of One Direction also penned a note along with the release of his latest single.

Taking to his Instagram on Thursday, Zayn posted a snippet from his song and captioned it, “WHAT I AM…,” also added the comment "Am I crazy?"

Along with it he also shared a note, that read, “This song is the first release of a special project I’ve been working on for years.”

Following he dropped the mesmerizing song from his “special project,” the fans couldn’t hold their excitement and flooded the comment section to show their ecstasy.

One wrote, “I’VE NEVER BEEN FED LIKE YOU’VE FED ME THIS WEEK I NEED TO GO TO THE GYM”
