Meghan Markle recently made headlines for talking about her 'unladylike habits' on her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig.

As per Mirror report, Duchess of Sussex revealed her personal struggles with maintaining New Year's resolutions, including attempts to stop biting her nails, running marathon, before meeting Prince Harry.

“Run a marathon. Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French. These make my New Year’s resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year,” she said.

The outlet shared, Markle further discussed that the marathon didn't happen and her attempts to relearn French, a language she studied in high school but lost proficiency in after spending time in Buenos Aires speaking Spanish.

Despite her efforts with language-learning tools like Rosetta Stone, she acknowledges that she hasn't been successful in maintaining her French skills, stating, “resolving to do interviews en français, but much to my chagrin, it hasn't stuck.”

She further confessed to the challenges she faced in overcoming the habit, describing it as 'unladylike,' stating, “And when it comes to the biting of the nails – well, it still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It's unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit.”
