Priyanka Chopra expressed her excitement for the upcoming Indian spin-off of the hit series Citadel.

The new series, Citadel: Honey Bunny is set to star Varun Dhawan and Samanrha Ruth Prabhi as the lead actors.

Chopra, who was previously starred in the original Citadel, expressed her excitement on Instagram Story.

Sharing poster of the upcoming series, the Sky is Pink actress stated in caption, “Cannot wait for this series to unravel another layer of Citadel!”

Directed by Raj and DK and produced by D2R Films, Citadel: Honey Bunny, boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem alongside Varun and Samantha.

As per Prime Video details shared on the Instagram page, “Citadel: Honey Bunny has a riveting narrative that fuses the pulse-pounding elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming allure of a love story, all set against the vibrant tapestry of the 90s. Honey Bunny is the Indian series within the Citadel universe.”

The original Citadel series, featuring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, garnered widespread acclaim upon its release in April 2023.

Notably, the release date of Citadel: Honey Bunny is yet to be announced.
