Kelce's hosting gig in 2023 was well-received, with memorable moments including sketches where he played various characters, including an eccentric customer at the American Girl Doll store's café and a straight male friend in a skit with SNL cast member Bowen Yang.
Kelce's performance was also lauded during a parody of Netflix's Too Hot to Handle.
Meadows also revealed that Kelce had reached out to him before his hosting debut, seeking advice for portraying a character similar to Meadows' iconic SNL character, Leon Phelps.
“We sort of touched base with each other on Instagram, he was doing ... a lady's man impression on Live,” he said.
