Courteney Cox, iconic for her role as Gale Weathers in the Scream franchise, is reportedly in discussions to reprise her character in the upcoming installment, Scream 7.
This news comes hot on the heels of Neve Campbell's confirmed return to the horror series, signaling a potential reunion of the original cast.
As per the reports of Variety, the source revealed that the Friends starlet is in talks to mesmerize the audience with her role in the American slasher film.
Campbell who played the role of Sidney Prescott, announced her comeback in the Scream franchise on March 12.

She wrote on her social media account, “Sidney Prescott is coming back!!!!”
The Wild Things star added, “It’s always been such a blast and an honor to get to play Sidney in the ‘Scream’ movies. My appreciation for these films and for what they have meant to me, has never waned.”
Campbell continued, “I’m very happy and proud to say I’ve been asked, in the most respectful way, to bring Sidney back to the screen and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
