Shakira has sparked headlines with rumors swirling around her romantic life as reports suggested that she may be romantically involved with British actor Lucien Laviscount.

According to Dailymail, the insiders shared that the Waka Waka singer and the Emily in Paris star are now romantically involved after they starred in Shakira’s recent music video.

Earlier, rumors of a romance between Shakira and Lucien had been fueled by their steamy performance in the music video for Punteria.

The friends of the Hips Don’t Lie crooner are relieved to learn that they are together despite not being "heavily involved," as they had feared he would break her heart.

“Shakira is desperate to fall in love – but her friends are concerned because Lucien has slowly crept his way up the celebrity ladder while dating women who were all less famous than Shakira,” the source told the outlet.

As per the source, “The women he has been with are all very different. Now he is seeing Shakira - and she wants love.”
