Selena Gomez has thrilled fans by confirming the release date for her much-anticipated film, Emilia Pérez.

The Only Murders In The Building star took to her Instagram account to drop three movie posters featuring Gomez, Zoe Saldaña, and Karla Sofía Gascón.

Additionally, Gomez also expressed her gratitude to French director Jacques Audiard and said that the film will have its world debut at the Cannes Film Festival, which takes place this year from May 14–May 25, 2024.

She wrote in the caption, "I’ve been waiting to show you guys this one!! I’m beyond grateful Emilia Pérez, directed by Jacques Audiard, will premiere at @festivaldecannes in May!"

Soon after, the Wizard of Waverly Palace starlet post sent the internet into frenzy, the fans flooded the comment section with their excitement.
