Taylor Swift has astounded her fans with an unexpected twist as she disclosed that The Tortured Poets Department isn't just an album—it's a secret double album.

In an announcement made at 2 am, the Lover songstress revealed the expansion of her latest album and the development came two hours after the initial album, features 15 more songs titled The Anthology.

Taking to Instagram on Friday night, the Reputation crooner fueled fans’ excitement as she shared, “It’s a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album.”

Swift added, “I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.”


At midnight ET on Friday, the Anti-Hero songstress released her first album consisting of 16 songs.

The album includes two tracks that are a result of collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine. Also, there are four bonus tracks - The Manuscript,The Bolter,The Albatross, and The Black Dog.

Taylor Swift also set to release the video of her first single Fortnight, collaborated with Post Malone, on Friday at 8:00 pm. E.T.
