Jennifer Lopez dismisses query about Ben Affleck at ‘Atlas’ premiere
Jennifer Lopez ignores question-related to Ben Affleck amid divorce rumor
Jennifer Lopez has dismissed the questions related to Ben Affleck amid the speculations of their rumors.
During her promotion of the Netflix film Atlas in Mexico, The Mother star avoided the question of one reporter asking her a personal question instead of a professional one.
"Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumors?" the unidentified reporter asked, adding, "What is the truth? Para le press le Mexicana [for the Mexican press], what is the truth of the situation?"
Lopez's costar, Simu Liu, interjected, "Okay we're not doing that," adding, "Thank you so much guys, we really appreciate it. Thank you."
The This Is Me Now star responded, "You know better than that."
"C'mon, don't come in with that energy, please," Liu stated.
The co-star continued, "If I could just end on one thing," adding, "Jen is a producer on this movie and the reason why I am here and why Sterling [K. Brown] was in this beautiful movie is because Jen cares. And Jen cares about things like representation and diversity, and she's a boss."
Lopez concluded the press conference by telling the press in Spanish, "Thank you. No one asked me anything in Spanish but okay."
The update came amid intense speculation about their split and reports that they are living separately.
Notably, Affleck was absent from the Los Angeles premiere of Atlas on Monday and the Mexico City premiere on Tuesday.
