Kate Winslet shares hilarious filming moment on 'The Regime' set
Kate Winslet also gives details about the finale of 'The Regime'
Kate Winslet has opened up about hilarious and challenging moments on the set of her latest film The Regime.
While conversing at the The Regime FYC panel event in Los Angeles on June 5, the Titanic starlet shared, “Actual pee. Actual pee down the inside of my thigh. I’m sorry to share that,” adding, “It was so f------ hilarious. I couldn’t breathe. … That was the only sequence that we really did improvise. We just went for it.”
She added, “At one point, we were down on [the floor] chanting and slapping each other.”
Kate continued, “It was completely out of control. But when you have someone like Julia Davis, an absolutely brilliant comedian … I'm afraid you just go for it.”
Elsewhere in her discussion, the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind starlet also offers insights about The Regime’s finale.
In the finale, Chancellor Vernham surprisingly retrieved control of her fictional country during a civil war by agreeing to part ways with Herbert and aligning herself with the US.
She also addressed her countrymen nine years after the Civil War ended, reflecting on the country's stormy "road" to the present.
To note, The Regime was premiered on HBO on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
