Adele has finally addressed the swirling engagement rumors surrounding her relationship with Rich Paul, confirming the speculation in a recent statement.

After three years of dating, Adele has finally spoken out about reports that she and sports businessman Rich Paul are engaged.

On August 9, the Hello hitmaker responded to a fan who asked for her hand in marriage when she was performing live in Munich, Germany.

In a short video posted to social media, the Grammy winner added, "I can't marry you, I'm already getting married."

Adele was not seen with a ring on, but when she was out with Rich in London last month, she was seen with a pear-shaped diamond on her ring finger.

After months of rumours that she would go down the aisle with Rich, the confirmation finally arrived.

Adele said of Rich earlier in an August 2022 interview with Elle, "I've never been in love like this." I can't get enough of him.

Also, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey from November 2021, which aired on her CBS special Adele One Night Only, Adele again gushes over Rich.

She stated, “He's just hilarious. Oh, he's so funny, he's hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he's very, very smart.”

Adele added, “It's quite incredible watching him do what he does.”

Adele and Rich initially aroused dating suspicions in July 2021 when they were photographed together courtside during an NBA Finals game.

As for the duo, rumours of an impending engagement surfaced in February 2022 when Adele attended the BRIT Awards wearing a large gemstone on her ring finger.
