The interview was conducted for a Variety Awards Circuit Podcast, which the outlet plans to release later this week.
“I’m spending the year writing,” said Ryan Reynolds.
He continued, “I’m writing a movie for myself, Hugh [Jackman] and Shawn [Levy] to do that is not Marvel.”
The If actor kept the narrative specifics secret and remained silent when questioned about further information about the next production.
Additionally, this will be Reynolds and Shawn Levy's fourth collaboration.
Prior collaborations include Free Guy (2021), The Adam Project (2022), and the most recent blockbuster, Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).
