Olivia Rodrigo opened up about her personal beliefs, sharing a surprising perspective that’s left fans both intrigued and inspired.
In an ASMR interview with W Magazine on Monday, November 4, the American singer-songwriter revealed her beliefs and an intriguing prophecy her grandfather made before she was born.
Her unexpected conviction, the Get Him Back! singer stated, “I’m a big believer in astrology.”
Rodrigo said that her grandfather, an astrologer, had looked at her birth chart and predicted that she would become a renowned star.
"My grandpa — who just passed away this year — was also super into astrology and when I was born, he [read] my [birth] chart. He told my parents that I was gonna be very emotional and a performing artist," said the GUTS tour starlet.
"Tell that story to anyone who is an astrology denier," she said with pride.
Rodrigo caution against going too far or becoming extreme in your beliefs and behaviour, and instead urged you to concentrate on adopting a more realistic and well-rounded perspective on the world and life.
As part of the ASMR experience, Olivia Rodrigo was given chillies to slice up throughout the interview. She portrayed herself as a “spicy Pisces” by doing this.
“Pisces love water,” she explained, continuing, "And while I'm not a strong swimmer, if there is a body of water within a mile radius of where I am, you best believe I'm going for a swim."
Notably, on October 22, 2024, Olivia Rodrigo wrapped up the 2024 leg of her wildly popular GUTS World Tour at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena.
