Ryan Reynolds reacts to the ongoing rumours about host Oscars 2025 with Hugh Jackman
Ryan Reynolds has spoken out regarding the rumours that he and his Deadpool and Wolverine co-host Hugh Jackman may co-host the Oscars next year.
The 48-year-old father of four revealed that he and his friend would "love" to co-host the celebrity-filled event.
While conversing with Deadline, he said, “The Oscars, yes. This is something I really genuinely would love to do with Hugh. So, one day I’d love to do that, I don’t know about this year, but one day, yeah.”
Additionally, Ryan put an end to the allegations by declaring that he now has no time for an Oscar role because his four children are his primary priority.
“Part of it is that these movies like Deadpool & Wolverine, they consume my life, and I have four kids, and I want to be there. I want to see them, and they want to see me, and I want to walk into school with them, and I want to be able to be there present,” the Free Guy actor shared.
Ryan and his wife Blake Lively have a one-year-old baby named Olin, a nine-year-old daughter named James, a seven-year-old named Inez, and a four-year-old named Betty.
Additionally, he acknowledged that his incessant imagination of "tragic outcomes" makes it impossible for him to cope with the pressure of live television.
