Jay-Z’s legal team bashed his accuser’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, whose clients alleged that the rapper sexually assaulted her more than 24 years ago.

The 55-year-old rapper’s lawyers, as reported by TMZ, asked the court to sanction Buzbee, alleging that he did not personally meet the accuser, who identifies herself as Jane Doe, at the time of filing the legal complaint.

According to Jay-Z aka Shawn Corey Carter's lawyer, Alex Spiro, it is "a major ethical lapse".

Buzbee, in his response, told Dailymail.com that "what Spiro has filed, like everything else he has filed thus far, is utterly frivolous and meritless".

The publication has reached out to Spiro and representations for the husband of Beyoncé for further comment on this story.

For the unversed, Jay-Z is involved in a bitter battle with Buzbee after the latter’s accuser filed a lawsuit against the billionaire entrepreneur back in December.

According to the lawsuit, the rapper along with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl at an awards show afterparty in 2000.
