Priyanka Chopra reveals real reason for marrying Nick Jonas
Priyanka Chopra has finally opened up about her relationship with Nick Jonas and why she married him.
In a recent Harper’s Bazaar UK interview, the 42-year-old star got candid about her relationship with her 32-year-old husband, with whom she is raising her three-year-old daughter Malti with.
While talking about her high standards, she praised the singer stating, "I wouldn’t have married Nick if he didn’t tick all the right boxes."
"You have to look for someone who respects you. Respect is different from love and affection," she added.
"You’ve got to kiss a lot of frogs until you find your prince," Priyanka humorously said.
In 2023, the Citadel actress confessed to making many mistakes in her past relationships and repeated those mistakes till she finally met the Jonas Brothers member.
"A lot of the pattern in my relationships was me feeling gaslit because I gave that kind of power to the people that I was with," she reflected on the Armchair Expert podcast, explaining she always put the other person’s interests before hers.
She revealed she was finally able to get clarity before her relationship with the Jealous hitmaker began, whom she's happily married with since 2018.
