Renee Zellweger shines in $2,300 designer dress

Renee Zellweger stunned at the promotion of her upcoming film, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, in Sydney, Australia.

As reported by Daily Mail, the 55-year-old actress, who will soon reprise her role Bridget Jones in the fourth instalment of Bridget Jones, stepped out wearing Emilia Wickstead at the Park Hyatt.

For the event, she donned a blue designer gown worth $2,325, which fell off the Hollywood star's shoulders.

Zellweger kept her accessories to a minimum with a pair of white pumps and a chunky gold ring as she opted for a natural makeup look.

The movie star was accompanied by her costars, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leo Woodall and director Michael Morris for a photo-call.

The promotion news comes after the creator of the forthcoming movie revealed the real reason she gave Zellweger’s character a romance with a much younger man in her latest flick, saying that she hoped the new flick will smash the idea of women having a “s***** sell-by date”.

Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy sees the lead character embark on a love affair with Roxster, played by British actor Leo.
