Charles Melton, the Beef season 2 star, opened up about his days before finding success in Hollywood.

The actor revealed he did multiple jobs to support himself when he first moved to Los Angeles city.

In a chat with the Associated Press, Melton shared his experience of working as a dog walker and at a Chinese takeout while establishing a career in acting.

He said, “I was walking dogs and working Chinese takeout seven years ago.”

“My life experiences played a crucial role in shaping me as an actor. The chipping away, I think, I don’t know, I think it’s good,” Melton stated.

It is to be noted that Melton faced a fair share of struggles on the road to becoming an acclaimed actor.

His stellar performance in Todd Haynes’ May December earned him wide critical acclaim, such as the Gotham Award and a Critics Choice Movie Award.

For the unversed, Melton credited veteran actors like Bryan Cranston for inspiring his approach to act, “I remember hearing this thing a while ago that Bryan Cranston said. And the message I received was that, in order to craft a character, you have to be a craftsman of your own life outside of what you do.”

Beef season 2 is currently on the cards which will help Melton continue his journey in Hollywood.
