Demi Moore’s brutal reaction to Oscars snub

Demi Moore’s icy reaction to Mikey Madison’s 2025 Oscar win has gone viral.

The 62-year-old actress who had been expected to win the Best Actress Award in a Leading Role for the part in her hit horror Sci-fi movie The Substance, had unfortunately lost to the Anora star.

When the 25-year-old actress was announced to be the winner, which was incredible news to the cast and crew of the romantic comedy film, it wasn't just the fans who were left enraged for the Hollywood icon losing out, but the actress herself didn’t seem too happy. 

Prior to the Oscars, Demi had garnered all awards for the film, except for BAFTA, which set the expectations for many that the Ghost actress would also be accepting an accolade at the awards ceremony. 

A lip reading expert, Nicola Hickling, took to social media to decode what Demi said when Mikey was announced to be the winner.

"Demi says 'nice' but she isn't smiling when she says it. Her body is almost nodding like she had to force herself to say it," she stated. 

The actress’ fans took to X to express their outrage, with one sharing, "Demi Moore deserved to be the winner."

"Really! I am so angry. No Oscar for Demi Moore, Monica Barbaro and James Mangold. Why?" another penned.
