‘Another Simple Favor’ director makes surprising revelation about Blake Lively

Another Simple Favor director, Paul Feig, recently made surprising revelation about Blake Lively who will soon star in 2018’s sequel.

The actress recently received praise by the upcoming movie director during their SXSW movie premiere which took place at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas.

Speaking highly of the 37-year-old actress, he complimented her on the clothing contributions she made for her character Emily with The Hollywood Reporter.

“Her ideas on wardrobe are spectacular. When when she first shows up [in the movie], Blake was like, ‘I want to show up in a suit that looks like a prison outfit,’” the Gossip Girl star said.

The A Simple Favor director went on to say, “It’s one of these things that when somebody first says it, you’re like, ‘That’s weird.’ Then you realize it’s actually brilliant.”

The director also recalled how Lively used a trip to Italy to source an accessory she wore in the upcoming movie.

“She came back and said, ‘I just bought this hat. Can we put it in the movie?’”, Feig said, adding, “That’s definitely going in the movie. You kidding me?”

Paul Feig said before concluding “And my favorite thing is how she navigates the street with it.”

Blake Lively will star alongside Anna Kendrick in Another Simple Favor which is set to be released on May 1, 2025.
