Margot Robbie set to take on exciting role in upcoming film

Margot Robbie, the American actress, has sparked work speculations that she might  get starred in an Anna Nicole Smith biopic. 

However, there is no concreteness in this news as the cast is not finalised yet.

The 34-year-old Barbie star, who welcomed her first child back in October 2024, is said to be the favourite to depict the scandalous life of Smith in the movie.

According to The Sun, Smith's former friends, Pol’ Atteu and Patrik Simpson have also showed keen interest to see   Margot  to play the lead role  in the upcoming movie.

'We are eyeing Margot and I think she is our Anna Nicole,' said Simpson. 'After we saw the Barbie movie, Margot was at the screening and I said, "That’s our Anna."

Simpson said that it was her performance and 'the way she embodied Barbie' in the super hit comedy that made it successful.

Furthermore, Simpson revealed that Pol always said that Smith is the living Barbie so why not consider Margot to play her role.

The Sun also stated that Simpson and Pol have finalised a script for their upcoming film, which will be produced by  Island Illusion Entertainment.

For those unversed, Smith died in 2007 due to drug intoxication at the age of 39.
