Joel McHale gives surprising spoiler for 'Community' movie
Joel McHale has finally broken his silence and given an exciting new update about the prospects of the Community movie.
Ever since the fan favourite show ended, fans have been waiting for its movie to be released. When the show was ending it hinted that it will have a total of six seasons and a movie.
During a candid chat with Jesse Tyler Ferguson on the podcast Dinner's On Me the 53-year-old actor and comedian, who played a witty and sarcastic character on the show, revealed that the script has been ready for a while, but the cast are facing some scheduling conflicts which is why it has faced a delay.
"When everyone’s like that, is that going to happen? I was like, well, we got the money, which is one of the harder things to do. Yeah. And everyone’s in, so that is the other,” he said.
Joel then went on to address fan’s expectations from the film. He kept the plot a secret, building even more anticipation, as he remarked, "I am not going to tell you anything about it. I'll just say, everybody dies."
Back in September 2022, Peacock had finally greenlit the possibility of the film’s release soon, fulfilling the promise of "six seasons and a movie," as stated by Abed, played by Danny Pudi, in the series.
The Emmy winning NBC sitcom only managed to stay at the network for a total of five seasons before 2009 to 2014, but was picked up by Yahoo for its final run.
