Gal Gadot sends special message for ‘Snow White’ haters
Gal Gadot finally broke her silence over controversy surrounding her upcoming film, Snow White.
The 39-year-old actress, who plays the role of the Evil Queen in Disney's newest live-action film, had a brief chat with one of TMZ reporters on Tuesday, March 11, at Equinox Los Angeles.
The Wonder Woman actress was asked if people should watch the movie, to which, she responded, “Of course — it’s a great movie.”
According to Gadot, the forthcoming live-action remake is totally worth catching in theaters.
Since the announcement of the film and the news being leaked that Disney was getting rid of the dwarf characters, the project has been embroiling in one another controversies.
The film giant addressed the replacement by stating they were taking a “different approach” to “avoid reinforcing stereotypes” from the original 1937 film.
Later there were issues with casting as some took issue with Rachel Zegler, a Latina actress, playing Snow White, a fair-skinned princess.
Directed by Marc Webb, Snow White will hit theaters on March 21, 2025.
