British and American people reveal opposite tastes over favourite royals

The British and the American people were once again on opposing sides of each other as they participated in polls regarding the favourability of the royal family members.

The British online polling website, YouGov, recently conducted the polls between the two nations.

The polls asked both countries’ people to evaluate their opinions of the different members of the British royal family.

More than a thousand Americans chose the late Princess Diana as their favourite royal. While, Queen Elizabeth ranked second.

The current Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, ranked third in the American poll.

This was in stark contrast with the British poll where more than two thousand people chose Princess Kate for the top rank.

Whereas, Diana did not make an appearance on the British poll altogether.

King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla, seemed to have failed to impress the American people.

The King secured the eighth spot in the American poll. While, Camilla was featured last, at the tenth.

It is pertinent to note that despite moving to the US and living there ever since, Prince Harry ranked lower than his brother Prince William on the poll.

William came in at fourth, while Harry settled for the fifth spot.

William also ranked ahead of his brother on the British poll, in the second spot, with a Total Positive score of 74 percent.

Meanwhile, Harry ranked lower than most, with only 29 as his score of the Total Positive percentage.
