Here's how you can earn money by getting views on your Facebook stories
Facebook content creators can now monetise their everyday life content
Earn money by getting views on your Facebook public stories
Facebook has introduced a new feature that allows content creators to earn money from views on their public stories.
This launch comes when Facebook parent company Meta is actively appealing to TikTok creators over to Facebook and Instagram with cash bonuses, content deals, and community growth support.
The new monetisation option is now available worldwide to creators who are part of the Facebook Content Monetisation programme.
Notably, Facebook launched this programme last year to consolidate its In-stream ads, Ads on Reels, and Performance Bonus programmes.
However, after testing it with select beta participants, the company is now expanding this feature to all creators in the programme.
With this new feature, creators can earn revenue from content they're already producing and sharing on their Facebook stories.
For instance, if a creator makes a recipe or any light-hearted video or reel, they can share a snippet of it on their story and earn money from views.
Moreover, creators can monetise their everyday life content, such as posting about their daily routines or behind-the-scenes moments.
According to a Facebook spokesperson, story payouts are based on content performance, and creators can start earning money without needing to reach a specific view threshold.
By introducing this feature, Facebook aims to provide creators with an additional revenue generation, encouraging more content creators to join the platform.
It should be noted that creators who are already part of the monetisation programme don't need to take any additional steps to activate story monetisation.
