Prince Harry on the verge of deportation? Visa records released by US Court
Duke of Sussex saw records released after previous deadline from court

Prince Harry’s troubles in the US continue to mount as his visa records are further probed into.
The records were unsealed on Tuesday, after Judge Carl Nichols ruled a conservative body’s request for the documents valid.
However, the released records are heavily redacted and provide no details of what the Duke of Sussex put on his immigration form.
Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington DC, had previously filed for the Duke’s records to be made public.
The foundation had alleged that Meghan Markle’s husband disclosing his past drug use in his memoir should warrant the release of his visa application form in public interest.
The demand, which was made as part of an on-going Freedom of Information (FOI) request, had referenced Prince Harry’s memoir called Spare.
Spare was released in 2023 and had detailed King Charles’ son using drugs like marijuana, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms.
Though, the documents released so far do include transcripts which reveal that the American Government feared that father of Prince George, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, may face harassment in case of the records being publicised.
US Homeland Security’s chief freedom of information officer was seen arguing that disclosing the required information “would potentially expose the individual to harm from members of the public.”
Heritage Foundation’s Sam Dewey has levelled accusations of privilege at Lady Diana’s son, saying that he is afforded the benefit of his “wealth and status” as he continues to be allowed his residence in the US.
Speaking to the BBC, Dewey has said that though he is “frustrated”, this is “not the end of the road”.
