Meghan Markle receives special honour from her high school

Meghan Markle has been hailed for her recent accomplishments by a very special source.

The Duchess of Sussex has received a special shout-out from her Los Angeles high school, Immaculate Heart, on Instagram.

The Catholic school for girls posted a picture of Prince Harry’s wife with a caption full of praise.

The post featured a throwback snap of the Duchess in her younger days, posing next to a statue of Mother Mary.

The school’s social media handle congratulated her on the success of the Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, as well as the announcement of her new podcast’s launch.

“We’re delighted to share a special throwback photo from her time at Immaculate Heart, honoring our cherished tradition of Mary’s Day, a reflection of our legacy of sisterhood, support and Panda spirit,” the caption continued.

Before adding, “As we begin preparations for this year’s Mary’s Day celebration, we proudly carry forward the traditions that make our school community so special!”

King Charles’ second daughter-in-law was also quick to repost the image on her own Instagram profile.

The Duchess revealed in the caption that the post was forwarded to her via a “dear friend” from middle and high school.

She further added that the gesture brought “the biggest smile” to her face.
