Blake Lively stands firm against Justin Baldoni, turns deaf ear to backlash
Blake Lively reportedly pre-planned the lawsuit against Justin Baldoni
Blake Lively doesn’t regret her decision about suing co-star and actor, director of It Ends With Us, Justin Baldoni, a source confirmed to People.
In conversation with the publication, the source revealed that the 37-year-old Hollywood icon was standing on ground with her decision to sue the 41-year-old star for alleged s***** harassment, and "doesn’t regret" it even after all the backlash.
They explained that the decision was not a sudden move. In Fact it was pre planned, saying, "This wasn't a decision made on a whim, it was months in the making."
"She knew there would be backlash, and she prepared herself for how mentally and emotionally difficult it would be," they continued.
Adding, "But she can't go through life knowing she didn't stand up to something she believed was wrong."
The insider close to the Gossip Girl alum shared that amid all the legal chaos, she has kept her children as her number one priority and wants to set a good example for her daughters.
She wants her daughters to "never stay silent" when faced with injustice and wants them to confidently take on the situation.
In December 2024, Blake filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni for alleged s***** misconduct on set and running a smear campaign against her. However, the Jane The Virgin star filed a counter lawsuit against her for defamation.
