Princess Anne's blunt remark about Mike Tindall's nose resurfaces

 Mike Tindall  had to endure a scalding bout of royal banter by  Princess Anne, before becoming part of the royal inner circle after marrying Zara Phillips in 2011.

Anne, notorious for sharp tongue, and no-nonsense demeanor, reportedly did not spare the former England rugby star on his first meeting with her. 

As per the 46-year-old, she spotted his notoriously battered nose, which had been broken several times over the course of his career, and suggested that he “consider sorting that thing out” before he takes Zara down the aisle.

Rugby union player  humorously underwent ruthless royal wit at the hands of the Princess Royal for his laughable nose. He took everything in stride. 

The remark was vicious, but at the end of the day Tindall is known for his remarkably fast-witted humor, so there was no doubt that he would get a chance for revenge and years later he did.

 During a charity event, he made mocking attacks on the Princess Royal in front of the audience and turned the tides while bringing laughter to the rest of the audience showcasing that he was indeed able to deliver equally brutal strikes back.

The playful interplay has turned into one of the more amusing anecdotes in royal circles, providing a glimpse into the witty relationship shared by Tindall and Princess Anne. 

It is evident that beyond the palace walls, the teasing and laughter is just as prevalent as tradition and duty.
