Watching Korean series and movies has always been a treat, mostly because of its gripping storylines and masterful directions.

From romance, revenge, comedy, life lesson, thriller, and horror; they have everything to offer.

Recently, I happened to watch Karma, a South Korean series based on revenge, fate, and how one cannot escape destiny no matter how hard you try to leave no stone unturned.

Released on April 4, 2025, the South Korean slow-burn thriller is a Netflix series based on the Kakao webtoon of the same name by author, Choi Hee-seon.

This thriller, which is trending at one of the top positions on the streaming giant, depicts how a fateful accident twists the lives of six people in a thrilling yet unexpected way.

Apart from facing their fateful karma, every person must face their dark truths and connections.

It sheds light on what you sow, is what you shall sweep. The series does not give away the story from the start, one has to be patient enough to understand the plot.

The most interesting twist comes in the end when it starts making sense to everything, every back-story and reference.

What makes the six-episode show so captivating for the audience is that it keeps you hooked through all the episodes, unable to skip for a moment.

The cast of the series is a cherry on top with Squid Game actor Park Hae-soo, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha actress Shin Min-a, Mouse actor Lee Hee-joon, and Netflix’s D.P. actor Kim Sung-kyun.

Karma is currently streaming on Netflix.
