Courtney Henngeler was best known for her performance in 'Cobra Kai'

Courtney Henggeler, best known for her performances in Cobra Kai, The Big Bang Theory, and Friends with Benefits bids farewell to her acting career of twenty years.
The 46-year-old actress took to her Substack account in late March where she announced her decision to leave acting behind after serving for nearly 2 decades in the entertainment industry.
"After 20-plus years of fighting the good fight in the acting business, I hung up my gloves on Friday. I called my agents and told them I was tapping out. I no longer wanted to be a cog in the wheel of the machine," the actress revealed.
Henggeler didn’t reveal much regarding her future endeavors but she did share what she told her agents.
"I want to be the machine, "she mentioned.
The Fixed actress added, "All I’ve ever known in my professional life was acting. But not even the art or craft of acting. All I’ve truly ever knew was the hustle."
"The hustle, the grind, sprinkled occasionally with the odd acting job. Perhaps a line or two to TV’s Dr. House - 'Sorry' (that’s it. That was my line. Genius)," she added.
The Boys in the Boat also took out a moment to acknowledge the success she had received after being casted on Cobra Cai as Amando LaRusso.
"I’m considered one of the lucky ones. I was on a series. A successful series. I made money. My face was on the billboards I longed for 20 plus years. I was directed by George Clooney for godsakes. This by all definitions is the golden goose," she said.
Henggeler expressed her sadness by saying, "For years I silenced the voice in my head, begging me to walk away."
For the unversed, Courtney Henggeler announced her exist from acting shortly after the finale season of Cobra Kai came out on February 12, 2025.
