Emily Ratajkowski lashes out at 'Blue Origin'
Emily Ratajkowski lashed out at Blue Origin after the company sent an all-female crew full of celebrities into space on Monday, 14 April.
For the unversed, Jeff Bezos who is the founder of Amazon and Blue Origin shared that his aim was to acknowledge and celebrate women’s achievements through this mission.
The 33- year-old model took to her TikTok where she expressed rage at the mission, she said, "That space mission this morning? That’s end time s***. Like, this is beyond parody."
"That you care about Mother Earth and it’s about Mother Earth, and you’re going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that is single-handedly destroying the planet?" the model raised questions while pointing out at Bezos.
It is pertinent to mention that Bezos parent company, Amazon faced backlash for creating environmental hurdles.
The Cruise actress went on by saying, "Get the state of the world and think about how many resources went into putting these women into space. For what?"
To note, Katy Perry, Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, and Kerianne Flynn were the celebrities that were sent to space for roughly 10 minutes.
