King Charles snubs Prince Andrew in major family celebration during Easter
Both Charles and Andrew were in attendance at Easter Sunday church service

King Charles and Queen Camilla led the Easter celebrations on Sunday, April 20 by kicking off the day at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, joined by extended members of the British royal family, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie along with their husbands.
However, their father, Prince Andrew was snubbed by his brother, the King, in a monumental show of his royal will.
While the Duke of York was in attendance for the service, in a later Instagram post from the royal family’s official account on the platform, he was unceremoniously left out of the various snaps featuring different members of the family.
“The King and Queen were joined by other members of the Royal Family at St George’s Chapel in Windsor today for the traditional Easter Matins service,” the caption on the post read.
Those who could be seen in the carousel of images posted included the King and Queen themselves, followed by his sister and youngest brother, Princess Anne and King Edward respectively, along with their families, and the royal nieces, Beatrice and Eugenie.
Though Andrew walked alongside Sarah Ferguson, his ex-wife and mother to the Princesses of York, he was notably left out of every slide of the Instagram post.
This move prompted a lot of inquiry by the royal family’s followers and reignited discussion around the disgraced verdict about the King’s younger brother.
Meanwhile, Andrew was suspended from his public facing duties by his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2019 following multiple controversies.
He was further stripped of his royal and military titles in 2022 and no longer participates in official engagements which represent the Crown.
Prince Andrew’s appearance at the Easter service led by King Charles marks his first in public since reports emerged regarding his connections to a Chinese spy in the UK, prompting endless scrutiny which is still ongoing.
