Prince Louis’ birthday honoured with never-before-seen portrait
William and Kate’s youngest celebrates his seventh birthday today, April 23

Prince Louis turned seven today, April 23, and his parents have released a brand new portrait of the cheeky royal to mark the joyous occasion.
The youngest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton can be seen sporting a wide grin with few missing teeth in a new post issued via his parents’ official Instagram profile.
Younger brother to Prince George and Princess Charlotte was photographed by Josh Shinner in the newly released picture.
The young Prince was photographed lounging on a tree, wearing a green jumper over a chequered shirt, and paired with blue denim.
“Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday!” read the caption on Instagram.
Shinner shot the portrait in Norfolk, the collaboration coming after the photographer previously captured the Waleses for their 2023 Christmas card.
William and Kate also observed the recent Easter festivities at their home in Norfolk, the Anmer Hall.
According to multiple reports, the royal birthday is likely to be celebrated at Windsor, given that Easter school holidays end today and the three royal siblings are expected to head back to their educational schedule.
George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and birthday boy Louis, 7, all attend Lambrook School in the Berkshire countryside in England.
Prince Louis has a reputation for being the most outgoing and mischievous of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children, with his mother admitting on a previous occasion that the recently turned seven-year-old prefers to “be in the middle of everything.”
