Prince Harry has recently gained widespread attention for his case against the British government due to their unsatisfactory levels of protection detail for his family.
The Duke of Sussex has levelled allegations that the government not providing suitable security measures for his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, made him hesitant to return to the UK in any capacity.
However, royal expert Jennie Bond, offered to share a different perspective regarding the Duke’s demands.
The former royal correspondent for BBC shared her belief that the reason the 40-year-old Prince is acting so adamantly about this particular cause is because he feels personally wronged.
“He has a deep-rooted sense of injustice. He believes there was some kind of conspiracy to keep him ‘trapped’ within the Royal Family and to prevent him and his family from leaving the UK. And he seems intent on proving that to be the case,” she revealed to the Mirror.
Notably, security arrangements for the Sussexes were toned down following their decision to step down as working royals in 2020 and move to the US with their small family.
Therefore, while Bond explained that she believes Harry is “sincere” about wanting to bring his family back to England, she also claimed that there is more to the issue.
“So I don’t think it really is about a burning desire to bring his children and wife to the UK. It is more about his anger at the way he believes he was treated,” detailed the expert.
When Prince Harry made the move to America with Meghan Markle, they left with only Prince Archie in tow, later welcoming Princess Charlotte during their time in California, USA.
