Brenda Song reveals how parenting made her bond with Macaulay Culkin stronger

Brenda Song has opened up about how being a mother has impacted her relationship with her partner Macaulay Culkin.

Talking to E! News, in an interview published on April 28, the 37-year-old praised her partner’s competency of raising their two sons, four year old Dakota and two year old Carson. 

"No matter how well you know your partner, when you have kids, it's another phase of your relationship, because you are dealing with situations that you've never dealt with," she noted.

"You're raising little humans together. It comes down to this really ground level of who you guys are and if you connect," she continued.

The Running Point actress went on to explain that she now understands why people often break up and call it quits on their relationship, recognizing how difficult raising children gets especially when people have them at a very young age and also how some people can’t handle the stress levels that come with parenthood. 

But while talking about her experience with the Home Alone star, Brenda expressed that despite them going through "trials and tribulations" their bond only grew stronger.

"We realized, 'Oh, I really am so lucky to have someone who understands me on such a different kind of level,'" the Disney alum stated.

"I wasn't expecting that because I'm so used to my crazy type A personality doing it all," she continued.

"Mac is so good at doing the things that I didn't even know I needed and I didn't even know our kids needed. I always say he's the white glue that keeps us all together."
