Rod Wave gets arrested in Georgia: Here’s why

Bad news unfolds for the rapper and singer, Rod Wave, as he got arrested in Georgia on charges of aggravated assault, possession and aiming at gun at someone.

According to Fulton County, Georgia, the 26-year-old musician was arrested on Tuesday, May 20 on 14 charges as reported by USA  TODAY.

This is all related to an alleged incident that took place on April 21 that included simple assault, reckless conduct, damaging property, obstructing law enforcement, tampering with evidence and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Shortly after, a statement was issued by Wave’s lawyer which read, "There is no truth to these charges. Rod Green was a victim of a burglary and committed no crimes. How he was even charged as a result of this situation is incomprehensible. This will absolutely be resolved favorably to Mr. Green."

As of now, Rod Wave has still not publicly addressed the latest charges.
