King Charles has assigned his niece Princess Eugenie a new major role in his the King’s Foundation.

The King Foundation shared a video of Princess Eugenie on its Instagram handle to officially confirm her role.

It says “Announcing Princess Eugenie as a mentor for our 35 under 35

“The Princess met some of our 35 under 35 at the Garrison Chapel last week, where we're currently hosting our 35th anniversary exhibition.”

The 35 under 35 network is a group of exceptional young people brought together as part of our 35th anniversary year, working to promote the change King Charles wants to see in the world across sustainability, traditional crafts and the arts.

Eugenie will be joined as a mentor by designer Dr Samuel Ross MBE, artist and influencer Sophie Tea Art, and historian and content creator Alice Loxton.

She said over the honour, “I’m delighted to be working with this group of exceptional young people who have been selected thanks to their outstanding work in areas The King is passionate about.

“Given I recently celebrated my 35th birthday, it’s fitting to take part in the charity’s 35th anniversary celebrations and share my passion for art with the 35 under 35!”

David Beckham, who shares a close bond with the royal family, has given his consent to the King’s decision by pressing the heart button on the post.
