The worrisome thought of whether Taylor Swift will be attending the 2025 American Music Awards continues to linger in the minds of the pop star’s fans.

The AMAs are scheduled to return after its two-years hiatus on Monday, May 26, and it is being speculated that the Blank Space singer might attend the musical event.

Increasing the speculation, the AMAs wrote a cryptic post on X hinting at a surprise appearance that read, "Who's going to tell 2008 @taylorswift13 that she'd one day hold the title for most #AMAs wins in history?? (40 wins!!!)."

It is pertinent to mention that this year, Swift has six nominations, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Favourite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Pop Album.

Swifties, the 35-year-old musician's devoted fandom, have been keeping a close eye on her every move, believing she might be dropping a bombshell related to the re-release of her album Reputation (Taylor’s Version).

One fan wrote on X, "I have a feeling that we are getting absolutely nothing at AMAS and she will not even attend it just video of saying thankyou."

"I don't think taylor is going to the amas but i DO think she'll tease TS12 in her acceptance video," another fan penned.

It is worth mentioning that Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce were recently spotted at Florida on Friday, May 23, ahead of the American Music Awards 2025.
