Demi Lovato and her husband Jordan Lutes ditched a famous tradition during their wedding ceremony.

The Sorry Not Sorry singer tied the knot with Jordon in a dreamy wedding on Sunday, May 25, in Southern California.

The lovebirds opted to stay away from the old wedding tradition that groom recite his vows first, as they put their own twist on traditional norm in a different way.

According to People magazine, Demi and her beau played rock, paper, scissors to decide who would go first to recite vows.

This comes after Page Six reported that one of Demi’s wedding dresses has a surprising connection to Miley Cyrus.

Demi and Miley have quite similar detailing in their big day’s gowns as they both choose Vivienne Westwood designs for their wedding.

The Heart Attack hitmaker donned a pearl-white off-the-shoulder dress, which the Hannah Montana actress wore for her 2018 wedding with Liam Hemsworth.

Demi also chose a Vivienne Westwood strapless column gown for her reception.

She told Vogue about choosing the late designer’s pieces for her special day, “I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time.”
