Princess Anne has come forward revealing why she’s grateful for King Charles.

The 74-year-old British Royal Family member expressed her gratitude for the 76-year-old monarch for granting her access to Buckingham Palace for a special event, and playfully added, "needed to say that."

Staying true to her nature, she chose not to celebrate her birthday with a personal party. Instead the Princess brought together representatives from the charities she supports. This move reflected her dedication towards her duties, prioritising service over ceremony.

As a part of her 75th birthday celebrations, she welcomed 216 guests from 111 charities to the palace.

Turning 75 on August 15, the royal personally asked for this heartfelt gathering as her preferred way to celebrate the upcoming occasion.

An insider from the Palace spoke to Hello! about Anne’s motivation sharing, "She didn't want to do anything for her birthday but bring her charities together to hear more about their work and how she can help them."

The Princess champions more than 400 organizations, making her one of the most active royals today and Thursday, June 5, showcased her devotion.
