Is season 3 the final season of 'Maxton Hall'?

Prime video has officially renewed Maxton Hall for a third season even before the second season aired.

On June 09, the streaming service delighted fans with a major announcement that their favourite romance drama would be returning for a third installment, and is already entering the production stage. 

Fans can remain excited to know that the leads Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten will be returning to their roles as James and Ruby.

With the third season getting picked up so soon, prior to its second installment airing raises the question if this could be the series finale.

The German-language TV drama premiered in May 2024 is based on the three novels by Mona Kasten. However, Prime Video hasn’t confirmed whether this will be the last of the show or not.

Taking to Instagram, the streaming service shared a post confirming the return of Maxton Hall in a playful clip.

"Maxton Hall calling... Season 3 is happening," the caption read.

Fans rushed to the comment section with excitement, saying, "Season 3 news before Season 2 release? We're blessed."

Another penned, "GETTING RENEWED FOR SEASON 3 BEFORE SEASON 2 EVEN AIR THAT'S WHAT I CALL ICONIC!"

"What a wonderful thing this is," a third stated.
