Kim Kardashian honours firstborn North West in heartfelt post on her 12th birthday

Kim Kardashian is recounting the days when she first embarked on the blissful journey of motherhood, as she recently paid a loving tribute to her firstborn, North West, on her 12th birthday.

To celebrate the auspicious day, the 44-year-old reality TV star took to her Instagram handle on Sunday, June 15, to honour her first child.

She shared a carousel of snaps featuring North’s throwback pictures as well as pictures from her childhood.

"My little baby North turns 12 years old today," Kim wrote in a touching caption.

The Skims founder went on to say, "We were looking at pics today together and laughing so hard, you were so small. It’s been the most special calling being your mom."

At the end of her post, she extended her heartfelt love for her daughter, saying, "I love you forever and got you forever my bubs."

This post comes after Kris Jenner, 69, wished her granddaughter on her special day by sharing a slideshow of images that encapsulate sweet memories of North.

"Happy birthday to my beautiful, kind, funny, talented, and wildly creative granddaughter North West!!! From the moment you were born, you’ve marched to the beat of your own drum… fearless and with such a love for life," she wrote.

The socialite continued, "You have the most incredible spirit, a brilliant mind, and an imagination that amazes me. Whether you’re singing, dancing, performing on stage, painting a masterpiece, you do everything with so much energy and with passion and purpose."

Additionally, Kris Jenner shared a piece of valuable advice with her granddaughter, saying, "Never stop being YOU."
