Ed Sheeran shares exciting BTS clips of creating music for Brad Pitt’s 'F1'
'F1' is scheduled to release on June 27
Ed Sheeran has recently shared rare behind-the-scenes footage of his heartfelt journey creating new music titled Drive for Brad Pitt’s forthcoming film, F1.
The 34-year-old singer took to his Instagram handle on Thursday, June 26, to express his gratitude for being given the opportunity to compose music for the highly anticipated movie.
In the video clip, Sheeran is seen jamming in his studio while singing a few lyrics from his song featured in the project.
The Sapphire hitmaker captioned the post with, "Wrote the music for drive with @johnmayer and @blakeslatkin in Los Angeles in the studio together, but the melody we got for it was just mumbles for the first bit."
"I only had the lyric 'just drive' in my head. I wanted to live with the movie more and work out what I was gonna say/sing about," he added.
Sheeran continued, "Wanted to make it about Sonny’s (Brad Pitt characters) journey, and get some phrases from the movie in it, etc. Once I had lived with it, I wrote the lyrics on the drive down to Butlins for a mate's stag do in @nicminns car."
Later in the post, Ed Sheeran humbly requested his fans to head to the theatres to watch the new film, F1, which is slated for release on June 27, 2025.
