King Charles passes huge responsibility to Prince William in major transition
King Charles is set to pass significant duty to Prince William
King Charles is set to hand over a huge responsibility to his eldest son, Prince William in historic royal shift.
According to Radar Online, the 76-year-old monarch, who has been battling an unspecified form of cancer since February 2024, is "poised" to hand over the throne to the eldest son soon for good.
In this regard, palace insiders revealed the possible reason of sudden major decision could be deteriorating health of the King, fearing that he might not live to see his 77th birthday on November 14.
“King Charles is much sicker than the palace lets on and simply isn’t up to the job of running his fractious family, the crown’s business interests, and fulfilling the daily duties of the monarchy,” a royal insider shared, adding, “His cancer is eating him alive. He’s very frail. The situation is desperate.”
Moreover, royal journalist, Camilla Tominey stated that the talk now is that he may die “with” cancer, but not “of” cancer following a rigorous “treatment program”.
King Charles has been King since his mother Elizabeth II died on 8 September 2022.
