Kate Middleton and Prince William are gearing up to celebrate their eldest, Prince George’s 12th birthday this month, July 22.

At the same time, with their son now fast approaching his teens, the Wales couple are also preparing to see him off for his higher education.

While it was previously reported that the future king and queen have chosen Eton as the institute where they would like to send the young prince, since Kensington Palace did not formally announce the plan, some royal experts are now voicing their disagreement about the news.

“Some parents who know the Waleses are adamant that George is going to Eton, where his father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry were educated,” reported The i Paper.

However, managing editor for Majesty Magazine, Joe Little stated, “I just have that feeling that it won’t be Eton.”

He further explained, “I wonder whether it will be too elitist or too fuddy-duddy for a future king in the 21st century. My money is on Marlborough.”

For the unversed, Marlborough College is the alma mater of the Princess of Wales, George’s mother.

On the other hand, another managing editor, Melanie Sanderson of The Good Schools Guide told the national newspaper, “One of the things that the royal family have got to really take into consideration is the security arrangements, and one of the reasons that I think he will go to Eton is they are well versed there in educating senior royals.”

Meanwhile, it has also been speculated that Princess Kate and Prince William have delayed the important announcement about Prince George’s future due to fear of unwanted publicity.
