Princess Anne made her way to Windsor Castle to take part in today’s investiture ceremony, despite previous claims of annoyance.

Earlier, a source reported that the Princess Royal is upset about having to perform more of the investiture ceremonies than her nephew, Prince William, who actually lives at Windsor.

A source revealed to The Sunday Times, “She’s still doing most of the investitures even though William lives there. It annoys her.”

While King Charles’ only sister lives on the Gatcombe Park Estate in Gloucestershire, which is an hour and half away from Windsor by road.

Meanwhile, Prince William has also participated in recent investiture ceremonies to honour the likes of former English coach Gareth Southgate, English actress Anne-Marie Duff, among many others.
