Robert Pattinson, a name that rose to stardom with his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga.

Pattinson had already gained some recognition for his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter film franchise, however, playing a romantic vampire and Bella’s love interest in the Twilight series made him a global superstar.

The The Devil All the Time actor almost bid farewell to audience’s most beloved character in the history of Hollywood movies for being too series.

Yes! You read it right! Pattinson was almost fired from the role for acting “too serious” as his role as vampire until he was told to lighten up.

'MasterChef' Pattinson

In an interview with GQ back in May 2020, the The Lost City of Z star revealed that he had been trying to create a way to eat pasta in hands just like pizza or sandwiches.

While proving his theory possible, the British actor revealed that it involves a creative culinary process.

According to the Remember Me actor, first cook penne pasta in a microwave-safe bowl with water for eight minutes, and then wrap it in foil with sugar, cheese slices, breadcrumbs, and pasta sauce.

Let alone bake the batter for minutes, as per the English actor, with the final step followed by serving the unique dish in a bun.

Pattinson said he has even pitched it to a restaurateur in California, but didn’t get the expected response from him.

In the end, the The King star had to let go his idea.

Pattinson’s insane acting method

Pattinson, known for his unusual accents in his acting roles, once threw up before scenes while shooting 2019’s The Lighthouse movie.

“I think everyone feels very emotional when they're throwing up,” the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire actor told Mr. Porter, adding, “And it's quite a nice little trick to get there.”

Moreover, according to his movie costar, sometimes the Twilight star would beat himself up so bad and would spin in circles and put a stone in his shoe while making the thriller movie to feel disoriented.

Pattinson’s desirable career

The Mickey 17 performer’s desirable career was always wanting to become a rapper, which he revealed at Late Night with Seth Meyers appearance in 2020, telling the host, that when he was younger, he wanted to be a rapper, and he still kind of does.

Interestingly, Pattinson, who is now engaged to Suki Waterhouse, also shared that his rap name with the audience which was “Big Tub”.

The father-of-one's love for music doesn’t end here as the actor is also good at two things; singing and writing his own music!

Apart from playing the piano and guitar, Pattinson also sang Twilight’s Never Think and Let Me Sign soundtracks, in addition, he has also sung in 2019 film, High Life.

Bizarre nickname

Pattinson has a bizarre nickname which the British actor doesn’t like at all!

The Cosmopolis actor’s popular nickname is “R-Patz” but the How to Be actor while expressing being displeased over it revealed on Told back in 2012 that he doesn't understand “nickname culture”.

Pattinson's creative insights

When it comes to creativity, the British heartthrob is always ahead; he has now become famous for rolling out wild lies during interviews, sharing stories that are often made-up.

Like in one of his interviews, the Little Ashes actor during promotion of his film Water for Elephants in 2011 told host Matt Lauer that the first time he went to the circus, a clown died.

Not just Lauer, but everyone was convinced that Pattinson was telling a true story of a clown dying in front of him until later he revealed that it was all a lie, saying, “I actually made the whole thing up.”

In another incident, he claimed that he once pleasured a dog on the set of 2017 movie, Good Time, and later admitted it was a joke.

During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the 39-year-old actor said, “There's this one scene we shot— there's a drug dealer who busts into the room, and I was sleeping with the dog and basically giving the dog a hand job.”

After his interview went viral, the movie's directors tweeted out that the story wasn't true following Pattinson’s statement this was supposed to be a "joke".

Small role in big movie

There is no doubt that Pattinson got prominence from playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

However, before starring in major role, the Tenet actor was cast in a small role in 2004's movie, Vanity Fair starring Reese Witherspoonunfortunately his scenes were unfortunately cut from the finished movie.

Expelled from school

Last but not the least! Robert Pattinson was almost expelled from all-boys school over a shocking reason; selling pornographic magazines to students!

During an interview with Howard Stern in 2017, the The Lighthouse star revealed that what led to him being caught was an employee from the store from where he was purchasing the magazine.

The worker when realised what the teenage Pattinson was upto, told him he had a choice; either they were calling the cops or his parents.

Pattinson chose his parents instead, however, the word got back to the school leading to him being expelled.

Luckily, the British star dodged the bullet!
