Dua Lipa isn’t shy about her Leo roots but she’s also not putting her entire personality in one zodiac basket.
In her 2021 Vanity Fair “Lie Detector Test” interview, the Grammy-winning singer was asked whether she identified with her sun sign.
“Yes and no,” she answered honestly. “I’m a Leo, but I’m also like Leo-Virgo cusp. So I do think I’m a little bit of both.”
Still, Lipa admits Leo traits show up strongly in one specific part of her life: “Especially in my work. That’s where I feel like I identify with it the most.”
Leos, known for their confidence, ambition, and love for the spotlight, seem to align well with the pop star’s stage presence and career drive. But when it comes to romance, Lipa takes a more nuanced approach to astrology.
Asked whether it’s healthy to date someone based on zodiac compatibility, she confessed: “I definitely feel like I’ve checked my compatibility based on star signs… Yeah, that’s true. I’ve done it. Guilty!”
Lipa went on to remind fans that astrology is deeper than just sun signs.
“I feel like there’s a lot more to a person than just a star sign. Don’t forget, we have risings and moon signs too,” she said.
