Live like royalty: Brands and companies that are royal family approved
Check out which labels have royal family’s seal of approval

If working for the royal family can be a big deal then providing for them poses an even bigger challenge.
Meticulous and unrelenting in their choice, members of the Crown trust only a select few companies and labels to fulfill their lifestyle needs — so much so that the royals who are eligible for granting royal warrants are also part of an exclusive club within the Firm.
What is a royal warrant, you may ask?
According to the royal family’s official website, “A Royal Warrant of Appointment is granted as a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household.”
While only the reigning monarch can decide who gets to receive the right to grant these warrants.
To that extent, the royal members who are approved by the sovereign for the right to grant royal warrants are officially known as the Grantors.
Recently, Prince William and Kate Middleton became Grantors themselves with King Charles’ approval and are soon expected to begin issuing their royal warrants.
Meanwhile, here are a few brands who are already welcome to collaborate with the royal family:
Kellogg’s

An American breakfast staple, Kellogg’s internationally renowned cereal was a longtime favourite of Queen Elizabeth’s, who had upheld their royal warrant which was first issued during her father, King George’s reign.
The company’s director, Paul Wheeler, once revealed that in the past, Kellogg’s even had a special van named Genevieve which used to make direct deliveries to the palace.
“Nowadays, the Royals get their cereal from us through their normal grocery supplier,” he further told the BBC.
Notably, the breakfast brand also released a special edition of their cereal in Queen Elizabeth’s honour, called Queen Flakes, in 2015.
Laurent-Perrier

An esteemed champagne brand, Laurent-Perrier was first awarded their royal warrant by King Charles while he was still the Prince of Wales.
After ascending the throne, Charles III reinstated the warrant for his favourite alcohol label.
In 1979, the King paid a visit to the beverage house with Lord Mountbatten for the very first time.
Upon receiving their renewed warrant, Laurent-Perrier owners, Alexandra and Stéphanie de Nonancourt shared in a joint statement, “We are deeply honoured to be granted the Royal Warrant from His Majesty the King. This accolade reaffirms our longstanding relationship with His Majesty.”
Burberry

One of fashion’s finest, Burberry had been part of the royal pool since the 1950s, as the designer label had been the go-to of the late Queen’s for her trench coats and weatherproof clothing needs.
King Charles reinstated their warrant for his sartorial needs once he took over the Crown as well.
Recently, Burberry collaborated with the King’s Highgrove estate for a capsule collection inspired by the gardens there.
The campaign focused on environment and sustainability — causes incredibly dear to King Charles.
Hawes & Curtis

Another clothing label, Hawes & Curtis is the royal family’s preferred brand for bespoke tailored clothing.
Going a long way back, the British luxury fashion house were first granted their warrants by Queen Elizabeth’s uncle, King Edward VIII, before he abdicated his throne to marry Wallis Simpson.
In fact, the former Duke of Windsor even wore their design for his wedding in June 1937.
Despite his abdication, the royal family has not seen any reason to let go of their trusted tailors at Hawes & Curtis.
Interestingly, the brand are also the innovators behind the “Windsor collar” — a famous spread collar designed to accommodate the wide Windsor knot, named after the late Edward VIII.
Heinz

Among the royal family’s edible favourites is this American condiment specialist, who received their first warrant in 1951.
Following Queen Elizabeth’s death however, Heinz were forced to change their packaging as their previous label read, “by appointment to Her Majesty the Queen”.
While the company celebrated King Charles’ coronation with a limited edition range of bottles which were manufactured as “Kingchup”.
“Each of the ‘Kingchup’ bottles is numbered uniquely, making it one of a kind! We’ve already packed up #1 and sent it off to the King himself,” Heinz revealed at the time.
Cartier

The premium jewellers Cartier have been longtime collaborators of the Crown, supplying its members with exquisite jewels since the time of Edward VII.
Famously, the former king had dubbed the company as “the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers.”
Among its most cherished creations for the royal family, Cartier had worked on the tiara worn by Kate Middleton on her wedding day in 2011.
Jaguar Land Rover

The royal family prefers getting around on vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover, a British automobile manufacturer.
JLR has been a favourite of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, as well as their son, King Charles.
In 2024, Vanity Fair reported that the latest addition to the royals’ Jaguar collection is a green coloured, 2009 Range Rover Vogue, which became “her majesty’s favorite vehicle later in her reign” and still remains in the family’s possession.
